LIVERPOOL'S LITTLE ITALY REMEMBERED

.

Picture
Over 100 people attended the unveiling of the Liverpool's Little Italy Plaque. The plaque, which was designed by the Vauxhall History & Heritage Group, is a tribute to the significant numbers of Italian immigrants who arrived in Liverpool between 1860 and 1920.  Many who attended were descendants from the Italian community of Liverpool's Little Italy.
The plaque was unveiled by Nunzia Bertali (Hon Italian Consul), Councillor Flo Clucas and local resident Ray Baccinno.
